November 3: update
3 NovFirst, I want to say a “Happy birthday!” to my dad, although, technically, it’s a day late because he is overseas in Qatar right now.
I am incredibly out of practice with text-based blog posts. (: So, over the past weekend I’ve been paying special attention to fashion (I always pay attention to fashion, but this weekend it was pretty much a focal point – maybe it was all of the costume hype) and portraiture, and I had an idea: a book. I would like to take a portrait a day for 365 days and publish it. I’m pretty sure it’ll be a very large learning experience, because I am young and both the literary and fashion worlds are extremely competitive. But I’m hoping to have the drive for it, because this is something I really want to do and I figure that it’s best to start young so that I still can have fun and learn about what I’m doing at the same time.
Anyhow, about the portraits for the book. One a day for a whole year – if you want to do a session with me and you live in the Tucson area, shoot me an email here. (If that link isn’t working right, you can find my email at the bottom of my (hello: about me) page.) I’d like to say I have an open schedule, but I really don’t – but I’m more than willing to work with anyone to get something accomplished. I’m hoping to give insight into both fashion and emotions.
